For International Women’s Day I wanted to highlight the most important woman in my life which is my wife Jenn.  Jenn is one of the most caring & loving people I have ever met. She is constantly putting others ahead of herself & that includes every single animal as she wants to save them all. As a teacher she works extremely hard to help her students achieve their goals & help them get to where they want to be in life. She is a driving force behind Santas Anonymous each & every year & I see first hand just how many hours she puts in to make sure everyone can have a happy holidays. She is an incredible woman and I’m extremely proud of everything she has accomplished.
I think a great role model in the country music scene to highlight on International Women’s Day is Carrie Underwood. Not only has she had an amazing career but she has accomplished so much more. From being an award winning artist to hosting countless award shows to being a mother to two children and now writing a book promoting fitness and health. This woman can do it all and I have no idea where she gets the energy or the time. She’s basically a superwoman and someone that is definitely an inspiration and a person to look up to.

Grandma Gwen, Grandma Hilliard – or just Gramma, the woman who introduced me to country music and my love of animals.
She was and still is an inspiration for hard work and fun times.
This woman always worked hard, especially when it came to the farm she shared with my Grandpa, but she knew how to let loose once in awhile too. I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today without the encouragement and love I received from her!
Carrie Underwood, the superhero we all need.  She’s singer, songwriter, fashion designer, actress, mom, wife, author and probably so much more.  Plus, she supports so many causes from education to animals.  She’s definitely some kind of machine made to inspire women to reach their highest potential.
