It was a busy day as I traveled through 3 different states (Nevada, Arizona & California). We started off by traveling down the Historic Route 66 and stopping at the Topock 66 restaurant. What a spot if you ever travel here in the summer time and are looking for an unreal place to party.

We then traveled to an old mining town called Oatman which is in Arizona. Population is just over 100 people. Checked out an old motorcycle museum, hungout with the donkeys and even watched a gun fight in the street. There’s a restaurant there that has over 300,000, $1 dollar bills stapled to the walls. That’s $300,000 for anyone who’s counting.

From there, we headed to London Bridge in Lake Havasu which is the second most visited place in Arizona behind the Grand Canyon.

Finally I finished off in Pirate’s Cove where I was able to rip around on the sand dunes in a Polaris RZR side by side. Talk about a good time. I could’ve spent all day out there.

Something I didn’t get to try but a Fort McMurray couple did was renting a Slingshot for the day. I first saw them at the Harrah’s Casino & Resort & caught up with them in Oatman, Az. They were having a blast.

I can’t believe how many amazing things there are to do that are all within a 90 minute drive. The adventure continues tomorrow.
