The guys in Old Dominion knows that from the perspective of being touring musicians, but they also know that whatever you’re coming from, what you’re going to is the best — so they wrote about it.

“‘Coming Home’ is about the anticipation of the moment that you get to wrap your arms around your loved one. You’ve been gone and you want to get home. And that energy and excitement that surrounds that moment that feels so good to everyone after they’ve been gone for a long time. We just tried to capture that in song form.”
