Dan and Shay’s Dan Smyers and his wife Abby have opened a special room in the new Wags and Walks pet adoption centre in Hermitage, Tennessee near Nashville.

The room will allow potential donors to meet their future fur babies in a peaceful setting.

The Smyers have long been pet rescuers, opening their homes to countless animals in need of love and support.

“My heart could explode typing this: The @wagsandwalksnashville Adoption Center is officially opening this weekend + we got to share a little sneak peek last week with some very special donors, sponsors and friends! …Thank you to everyone who has believed in this mission and this space. We are going to save all the dogs!!!! ???????? (Dan + I are so proud to have sponsored a part of the center and have our sweet creatures honored where so many pups will meet their forever families.)”
