After playing to a near sold-out show in Fort McMurray on Sunday, Dallas Smith and his Side Effects tour was in Dawson Creek, B.C., Tuesday where apparently some fans got out of hand.

The majority of this war of words centres around Smith’s “Disgusting Dawson Creek”, which likely suffered from the lack of a comma following ‘Disgusting’.

That’s when Brett Kissel decided to stick up for the B.C., town where he plays in March.

 

It didn’t take long for Dallas to fire back with a shot of his own.

Smith did post this note clarifying his original statement:

Dawson Creek has had issues with concertgoers in the past, a 28-year-old man was killed during a Hedley concert in 2012.

This entire Canadian Country feud is so incredibly un-Canadian I couldn’t even eat my Timbits this morning!
